RoadQuake 2F Folding Temporary Portable Rumble Strip was introduced to the traffic safety industry on February 23, 2014, at ATSSA Expo in San Antonio.
Now users have a choice in Temporary Portable Rumble Strips: RoadQuake 2 or RoadQuake 2 Folding!
RoadQuake 2F, designed to reduce accidents and save lives, alerts drivers to changing road conditions.
A one-piece design, RoadQuake 2F is 11 feet long, that folds for transport and storage, unfolds for use. No assembly is required!
RoadQuake 2F is rated for use in speeds up to 75 MPH, and temperatures from 0 to 180 degrees F.

RoadQuake 2F CRIB
RoadQuake 2F CRIB is a fully-integrated cargo carrier, designed specifically for the transport, deployment, retrieval, storage, and safe-keeping, of RoadQuake 2F TPRS.
CRIB Features and Benefits:
- deployment and removal of an array of a 110 lb. TPRS can be a 1 person job.
- reduces superficial stress to workers that could be caused by lifting and carrying RoadQuake 2F TPRS
- reduces overall deployment and removal time, when compared to RoadQuake 2 modular TPRS
- places RoadQuake 2F TPRS in alignment with deployment location
CRIB holds 6 TPRS in a folded position:
- enough for a 3 strip array in both sides.
CRIB mounts to the exterior of the vehicle:
- Eliminates need to find extra space on crowded service vehicles.
- Eliminates need for 2 people to deploy and then remove several 110 lb. TPRS from roadway.
With the adjustable mount:
- CRIB is at a convenient height for TPRS deployment and removal from roadway.
CRIB does not interfere with tail lights or tail gate.
CRIB ergonomic design:
- Facilitates easier and safer TPRS deployment and removal from roadway.
- Reduces potential for superficial injury to worker.

Because of its ergonomic design, complete with a set of stainless steel rollers at each end, CRIB can reduce the potential for superficial stress to workers. RoadQuake 2F TPRS can virtually roll in and out of CRIB. The stainless steel rollers do a lot of the "heavy lifting" workers formerly did.
CRIB holds a maximum of 6 RoadQuake 2F TPRS in the folded position. That's enough to deploy 2 each 3-strip arrays. Because CRIB mounts to the exterior of a vehicle, CRIB eliminates the need to find extra space in crowded vehicles.
With CRIB, deployment and retrieval can now be a 1 person job. One person can unfold and remove TPRS from CRIB, then pull the strips to the array location. It's just as easy to retrieve and return them to CRIB.
And there's more:
- CRIB mounts to the vehicle reciever with a Pintle mount. We include a mount with each unit.
- CRIB, with mount, weighs 132 lbs. An individual RoadQuake 2F TPRS weighs 110 lbs.
- CRIB will hold a maximum 6 each RoadQuake 2F TPRS, for a total weight of 792 lbs.
- A Class IV or Class V receiver is required for CRIB and 6 RoadQuake 2F TPRS. (Consult the vehicle manual for maximum Tongue Weight (TW) allowed.)
- CRIB measures 70" L x 17.5" W x 13.375" H. Made of steel, CRIB is powder-coated in safety yellow, with reflective conspicuity tape applied to 3 sides.
